The iPhone is one of the most awaited handhelds devices ever created and this is surely a good thing for the parent company Apple. Since the official announcement of the device, the Internet users were continuously talking about the upcoming product that was previously scheduled for June. Today, AppleInsider reported that Apple recently requested the iPhone components from suppliers until April so it's obvious the company is really preparing for the big launch.

"Apple Inc. has informed its network of iPhone component suppliers to begin delivery of materials to its Taiwanese manufacturing facilities by next month. Among those commissioned were the phone's printed circuit board makers, which were told to begin shipping their parts for delivery by "early April," the China Economic News Service reported on Friday. The move suggests that manufacturing ramp of the highly touted Apple handset will begin -- at least in some capacity -- shortly thereafter," AppleInsider sustained.

Apple prepares to send the iPhone to manufacturing and this is only good news for all the Apple fans. Because there was no official announcement, I'm really curios if the company received FCC's approval for the design of the phone. If you didn't know, FCC (Federal Communications Commission) must approve the use of the radio spectrum and all international communications that exist in the US.

Because the good news is continuously arriving, all the iPhone fans are now waiting to be allowed to make pre-orders for the handheld device. Although the company refuses to comment the rumors, it is expected for the pre-ordering program to be started next month or at least in May when the manufacturing will be almost 100 percent completed.

Let's analyze a bit the upcoming launch of the iPhone. Apple refuses to announce a more precise date for the release of the handheld device because this might have a strong impact over other products developed by the company. Think at the iPod that will be an abandoned product for the users waiting for the iPhone and its great features.
