According to a recent DigiTimes report, it looks like Apple is staying on top of the manufacturing process of the new MacBooks.

Asustek Computer has sent out the team that specializes in Apple products to the company's manufacturing site in Suzhou as they prepare to ramp up production of the new Mac portable models.

Apple has already unveiled the machines and has listed the specifications on their website. Already orders have been pouring in as the long anticipated MacBook was eagerly awaited since before the launch of the MacBook Pro, the previous iBook line being one of Apple's most loved products.

As volume shipments are expected to start in June, Asustek has had their team sent to Asusalpha Computer, the China subsidiary of Asustek, to make sure mass production proceeds smoothly. With the MacBook Pro having so many issues and having to go through several revisions before the problems started dwindling, it looks like Apple is well on top of this and does not want to have any issues popping up.

So far things are looking really good for the new MacBooks, despite the price bump, and industry observers are optimistic about sales, which they think will exceed two million units this year.
