Apple customers have had another update-busy week. For those of you who want to make sure you haven’t missed a beat, we’re offering the usual weekly lowdown of all the updates released by Apple in the past seven days.

On March 18 Apple updated its Remote Desktop software to version 3.7.2 with support for OS X Mavericks, changes to view order of screens in multi-observe mode, fixed scanner issues causing wrong IP addresses to be displayed, automatic copy and paste between local and remote computers, and improved support for multi-display setups and multiple IP addresses.

The update also enhances multi-observe with gesture support for swiping between screens and improves reliability and screen sharing sessions.

OS X Server 3.1 was deployed on the same day with support for Profile Manager for the Device Enrollment Program, management of Activation Lock on supervised iOS 7.1 devices, new management of Fonts, AirPrint and Wi-Fi Hotspot 2.0 settings, improved Profile Manager scalability, and enhanced permissions for accessing My Device portal and for device enrollment. The update is free for all existing users.

Also on March 18, Safari 7.0.3 and Safari 6.1.3 became available as betas for testing on OS X Mountain Lion and OS Mavericks with the following focus areas: general website compatibility, Push Notifications, Login AutoFill, Credit Card AutoFill, and Extension Compatibility.

Released earlier in the week to AppleCare staffers and then to all registered developers on March 20, OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 Build 13D21 is the third beta in this new development cycle. Apple asks testers to focus their attention on Graphics Drivers, Audio, Safari, and Contacts & Calendar sync over USB in iTunes.

Tied to the 10.9.3 Mavericks update is a new iTunes 11.1.6 beta which “restores the ability to sync contacts and calendar information to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from your Mac running OS X 10.9.3,” according to the release notes. Neither OS X 10.9.3, nor iTunes 11.1.6 have a definitive public launch date set.

On March 20 Apple released Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 5.04, which adds RAW imaging support to Aperture and iPhoto for a number of new cameras: Fujifilm X-E2, Fujifilm X-T1, Nikon D3300, Nikon 1 AW1, Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GM1, and Pentax K-3.

The last software update of the week, GarageBand 10.0.2 arrived on the same day with support for exporting songs as an MP3, enhancements to Accessibility, three new Drummers and drum kits from the rock, songwriter, and R&B genres, and improved stability throughout the app. Some minor issues have also been fixed.
