Following two days of nothing but Mac mini refurbs and several other deals going over the $1,000 mark, Apple’s Special Deals area is now featuring fresh offers on MacBook Airs and MacBook Pros, some of which save their buyer as much as $250.

A Refurbished MacBook Air 1.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo selling for $899 delivers 11.6-inches of LED-backlit glossy widescreen display goodness, 2GB memory, 128GB flash storage, NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics, and a FaceTime camera. The offers saves you $200, according to Apple.

A Refurbished MacBook Air 1.86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, on the other hand, features the 13.3-inch display, 2GB memory, and the same 128GB NAND flash storage (as well as the rest of the features) for $949.

Although the price for this one is higher, the savings are also bigger - $250.

If Pro-level computing is what you need, a Refurbished MacBook Pro 2.3GHz dual-core Intel i5 originally released February 2011 comes with: a 13.3-inch display (1280-by-800 resolution); 4GB (2 x 2GB) of 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM; a 320GB Serial ATA hard drive spinning at 5400 rpm (so no SSD); the 8x double-layer SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW) whose days are numbered if you ask anyone at Apple; and Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 384MB of DDR3 SDRAM.

The price is $929 and you save $170 says Apple.

Also cheaply priced and just as attractively discounted, the Refurbished Mac mini with Snow Leopard Server originally released June 2010 features a 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU; 4GB memory; two 500GB Serial ATA hard disk drives (optical drive swapped in favor of dual drives for server needs); an HDMI port with support for up to 1920-by-1200 resolution; and NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics with 256MB memory.

Buying price is $749 and Apple says they get suckered by $250 on this one.
