It’s officially spring! We’re not talking about the weather because things seem to be quite relative here, but about another clear sign: Apple is opening school field trips again this year. This program is ran each spring and fall and, this year, it unfolds on weekdays, until May 1st and it consists of bringing the students in the Apple stores to learn new skills and to have fun.

The classes accommodate up to 25 students in a K-12 education system and last for about 90 minutes. Registrations are being made by a “School Champion” and include contact general information and a certain date preference, as IfoAppleStore posts on its online space.

For students, Apple has developed an annual project, called Apple Camp, with registrations beginning in May and another on-going program, generically called Youth Workshops.

The Apple Youth Workshops offer insights into how to approach Show Workshops, for example, which include Keynote presentations, graphs and charts in Numbers or documents using Pages; Music Workshops, where kids can play and create tunes in GarageBand; Movie Workshops, which will teach the participants to operate with video materials using the iMovie software application; and, of course, Photo Workshops, where, by using iPhoto, the kids can edit, print, share photos and create their own photo albums.

The students can use Mac computers in the Apple stores to showcase their work or solve exercises on-the-spot. A group of specialists and trainers are guiding the youngsters in this useful play.

“Take your students on a Field Trip to an Apple Store for an unforgettable learning experience.” Apple happily invites everybody to join its spring programs. “On their Field Trip, students can create something amazing right on the spot. Or they can bring in a project they’ve already created and turn our store into a theater, sharing their achievements with parents, teachers, and friends.”
