14 DAY TRIAL // Apple has released a slew of updates for users of its app suites, iWork and iLife. Bundle updates include iWork 09 9.0.1 and iLife Support 9.0.2. Individual update releases comprise iPhoto 8.0.2, iMovie 8.0.1 and iWeb 3.0.1.
According to Apple, “iWork ’09 Update 1 is recommended for all iWork ’09 users.” The company explains that Keynote 5.0.1 improves reliability when deleting Keynote files, copying slides between presentations, or working with transitions and builds. Pages users will see an improved reliability when working with EndNote X2 or MathType 6, or deleting Pages files while their software version will be 4.0.1. Lastly, Numbers 2.0.1 improves reliability when deleting Numbers files, importing Microsoft XLSX files, customizing the toolbar, working with some functions, or with charts, according to Apple.

Among the updates recommended to iLife users is the iLife Support 9.0.2 update. According to the company, this update betters the overall stability and addresses a number of other minor issues. It is recommended for all users of Aperture, iLife 09 and iWork 09.

As far as the individual updates are concerned, iPhoto 8.0.2 improves overall stability and addresses minor issues in a number of areas, including Faces, Places, photo sharing, and slideshows. iMovie 8.0.1 also betters the overall application stability, as well as addressing minor issues related to usability. Finally, iWeb 3.0.1 deals with problems when publishing to an FTP server and other minor issues.
