Apple’s Support site has been updated with new documentation on the latest iPad models, including user guides and safety, warranty, and regulatory information. A PDF describing the EarPods with Remote and Mic is also available.

The Cupertino, California-based Apple Inc. offers two new manuals on its Support section, one instructing users on how to use their iPads with iOS 6 (including the all-new iPad mini), and one containing details on safety, warranty, and regulatory information.

The iPad guide teaches customers about iPad features, how to use the controls, accessory use, setting a passcode lock, using the SIM card tray on cellular models, the status icons, and more.

The guide also includes a Getting Started section where users are offered step by step instructions to get acquainted with their new Apple tablet.

As noted above, a second PDF was made available by Apple on its Manuals area in the Support section.

“iPad (4th generation) and iPad mini Info – safety, warranty, and regulatory information,” describes Safety and Handling, Exposure to Radio Frequency Energy, the battery, tips to avoid hearing damage, information on the warranty provided by Apple, and more.

Lastly, the EarPods with Remote and Mic User Guide details the controls found on the headphone wire, the device models that support the hardware, and the features that are supported by each device model.

Users can also use the documentation to learn how to use Siri and VoiceOver with the hearing gear, as well as to read some safety information (including some important don’ts), and more.

The EarPods guide is supported in several different languages, including Chinese, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.

Readers can download the three guides immediately via the links below.
