Apple is disclosing its fourth quarter FY2009 results during a conference call held on Monday, October 19, 2009, according to a post on the company’s website. Apple’s conference call webcast discussing Q4 - 2009 financial results will begin at 2:00pm PT/5:00pm ET on Monday, October 19, 2009.

Apple notes the usual (formal) aspects regarding its quarterly-earnings conference call saying, “Please note that comments made during this call may include forward-looking statements that are subject to risks and uncertainties, and that actual results may differ materially from these forward-looking statements. For more information on the factors that could influence results, please refer to Apple’s SEC filings.”

Those looking forward to listening to the conference call will need to be prepared ahead of time by installing QuickTime, the company’s in-house-developed multimedia framework, capable of handling various formats of digital video, media clips, sound, text, animation, music, and interactive, panoramic images. As noted above, the webcast begins on October 19, 2009 at 2:00pm PT/5:00pm ET.

“This transmission is the property of Apple and protected by U.S. copyright law and international treaties,” Apple adds on its website. “Any encoding, rebroadcast, retransmission, reproduction or distribution of any part of the material from the transmission is strictly prohibited without prior written approval from Apple. Please contact Apple Public Relations with any questions.”

At Apple’s most recent conference call (Q3 2009), Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer predicted revenue in this quarter in the range of $8.7-8.9 billion. “Looking ahead to the fourth fiscal quarter of 2009, we expect revenue in the range of about $8.7 billion to $8.9 billion,” he said, “and we expect diluted earnings per share in the range of about $1.18 to $1.23.” The Cupertino-based company is expected to introduce new iMacs following the disclosure of its earnings.
