Apple has posted a Support document that allows customers to find out which content types are supported for iTunes in the Cloud by country, as well as the territories where iTunes Match can be accessed and used.

With iCloud, the music people purchase in iTunes appears automatically on all their devices. The service also lets them download their past iTunes purchases again, for free.

Automatic Downloads only applies to new purchases made after users enable the feature. Customers need iTunes 10.3 3 and iOS 4.3.3 or later (iOS 5 or later for iPhone 4 CDMA) to automatically re-download purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, or iTunes Store.

“iCloud can automatically download new music purchases to all your devices over Wi-Fi — or over 3G if you choose,” Apple says on the iCloud marketing page. “Which means you can buy a song from iTunes on your iPad at home, and find it waiting for you on your iPhone during your morning commute. All without having to sync.”

Following the international rollout earlier this month, iTunes Match is now available in a total of 17 countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, New Zealand, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States.

Support document HT5085 displays a table featuring every country’s flag that shows what types of purchases you can re-download in each country using iCloud. An X appears in each country’s row for the content type that can be downloaded again.

“If music, apps, or books are available in your country, you can enable Automatic Downloads on your computers and iOS devices to automatically download new purchases made from other devices,” says Apple. “This feature is only available for music, apps, and books.”

Additional information provided in Support document HT5085 includes how to subscribe to iTunes Match, how to enable Automatic Downloads, and how to download past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store.
