Make upgrading be worth it

Apple still has a few tricks up its sleeve, as a spokesperson promised that "plenty more upgrades" for the iPhone will come in the future. It only makes sense, as the company needs to keep attracting people to upgrade and lock back their phones.

Many recently released mobile phones have managed to surpass the iPhone at some of its features. This makes it clear that there is plenty of room for improvement and it currently feels like Apple is slagging. The main danger is that of it being nudged not by an "iPhone killer", but by many other devices that manage to strain on specific needs of the user and offer better solutions than Apple's phone.

The producer currently gives new features one bit at a time, which could turn out to be a great strategy for keeping the interest for the iPhone alive and kicking. Moreover, if the company does manage to bring out some exciting new features in the future, the device will leave the impression that it continuously improves, which is not the case with most other mobile phones out there.

Apple makes the best of this device by not giving away all features at once and adding others as time goes by. Still, the strength of their iPhone re-locking seems to be at the same level with the importance of the update. The better the new features, the longer it takes hackers to break their new lock. This might be the reason why the producer's latest released update which brought no stunning new feature has been jailbroken in record time.

This increases chances that, one day, Apple will manage to develop a strong locking that should make hard times for hackers and also pack an irresistible feature that people will prefer to having a handset that works with support from any carrier.
