Apple is currently one of the world's giants because it is known in the entire world for numerous products developed by the company such as Macs, iPods, iTunes and for the upcoming iPhone. At this time, more and more users are attracted to buy a Mac and let the old fashioned Windows PC away because the Apple product is incredible eye-candy and efficient. Because it is so popular, the company keeps expanding, planning to open a new office in Rome, as Mac Scoop reported. It seems like the company plans to prepare an impressive celebration of the event and offer 1000 free T-shirts to the first visitors of the new store.

"The opening of the store, which is located in the Roma Est commercial center, is slated for March the 31st. Apple promises free T-shirts to the 1000 first visitors of the store as Italian speaking readers can notice on the note. Apple has been rumored to have plans on expanding its retail strategy in Europe for a while, it started with the United Kingdom and during last financial announcements conference, the company's executives clearly showed willingness to open stores in other European countries during the year," the same publication reported.

Because we're all waiting for the upcoming Leopard, it's almost impossible to avoid making a relation between this new office and the release of the Mac OSX 10.5. Although the operating system was scheduled for the 2007 spring, it was delayed several times, all the users sustaining Apple intends to introduce the product at the WWDC. I guess this new store is a part of the Leopard release, having an important role in promoting the new version of Mac OSX in Italy and among the Mac lovers from the country.
