iTunes Connect Mobile, an extension of the Sales and Trends module in iTunes Connect, has been promoted to version 1.1, which adds universal support for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, support for multitasking with iOS 4, and support for iBookstore providers.

Apple has also updated the iTunes Connect Mobile app description on iTunes, which now states that “…the iTunes Connect Mobile app allows devs and iBookstore providers to access sales and trend data from their mobile devices.”

The description continues: “You can browse through a summary of your top products and markets, search for specific products, and view data by product line (for example, Paid Apps, Free Apps, or In App Purchases for developers; Free Books or Paid Books for Publishers).

“Data can be displayed in the table or graph format, with controls for product type and period selection. Whether you’re in the office, at home, or on the go, the iTunes Connect Mobile app keeps you up to date by putting sales numbers right on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch,” Apple concludes.

The requirements haven’t changed, with Apple listing iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad as compatible devices, and iOS 3.2 or later as the supported operating system version.
