ifoAppleStore is reporting that Apple has started accepting applications for its “Expert” opening, at some of the company’s retail establishments throughout the US. First reported in October, the Expert position is part of a complete job title among retail staffers.

“You’ve gotten a taste of the retail life and you’re hooked — so much so that you want to take your game to the next level. Your friends call you an expert, a savvy confident professional who has turned a passion for sales into a career. You’re a role model. Get ready for a challenge where your results create the next generation of Apple fans,” Apple says, trying to entice possible applicants for the job.

On the actual page set up for possible candidates, Apple explains that the Expert is not new to retail. As such, the candidate needs to have “years of experience learning about and selling great products, either at the Apple Retail Store or elsewhere. What sets you apart as an Expert is the longing to take your game up a notch, to commit to a life-changing career where the challenges—and rewards—are greater than ever before,” the company asserts.

Requirements on behalf of the applicant include:

- to deliver top-tier results and are motivated by the success of the team; - to see sales as an opportunity to find the perfect solution for each and every customer; - to be an early adopter of technology and knowledgeable about everything Apple; - to be led by example and to be passionate about the Apple brand.

For its part, the Mac maker promises to offer a career in sales where one can share their passion for Apple in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, embrace Apple’s standards of customer service, get the chance to be the first to touch new technology, and grab an opportunity to share their wisdom.
