In addition to rolling out the LED Cinema Display Software Update 1.0 for Macintosh customers, Apple released a bundle update for Windows users employing the new display, as well as its all-new Magic Trackpad.

Mac users running Windows in Boot Camp will need to install the Apple Magic Trackpad and 27-inch LED Cinema Display Update for Windows as drivers for the company’s newly released hardware.

Both the 27-inch LED Display and the Magic Trackpad were announced in July, when Cupertino unveiled a new line of desktop Macs, and even its own battery charger.

To employ the goods, users must install new updates so that Mac OS X and Windows are compatible with the new hardware.

For Boot Camp Windows users, the Apple Magic Trackpad and 27-inch LED Cinema Display Update is available in 32-bit and 64-bit form.

“This update adds support for the Apple Magic Trackpad and 27-inch LED Cinema Display,” Apple notes on the Support area of its web site.

“If you have an Intel-based Mac and there‚s a PC application you need to use, you can run it using Boot Camp,” it adds. “You'll need to provide an authentic copy of Microsoft Windows but Boot Camp is included in Mac OS X Snow Leopard,” Apple explains.

On the 32-bit side, system requirements for this update include Windows XP, Windows Vista SP2, Boot Camp 3.1, Win 7-32.

On the 64-bit front, Windows XP, Vista64, Boot Camp 3.1, and Win7-64 are listed as requirements.

To properly apply the drivers, follow these steps:
