Washingtonpost.com reports that computer legend Steve Woznik will be online Tuesday, Nov.21 at 2 p.m. ET and will answer questions and discuss his recently published memoir: iWoz: Computer Geek to Cult Icon. Questions and comments can be submitted HERE

Steve Wozniak is the co-founder of Apple, along with Steve Jobs, and is well known for inventing one of the first personal computers. The Macintosh, for which many of us are grateful today, was largely influenced by him, as he is the inventor of Apple I and Apple II, machines that changed computer history. Without him, we probably wouldn't have computers as we know them.

In 1985, for his achievements at Apple Computer, Steve Wozniak was awarded the National Medal of Technology by the President of the United States, the highest honor granted to America's leading innovators.

In 2000, Wozniak was inducted into the Inventors Hall of Fame and was awarded the prestigious Heinz Award for Technology, The Economy and Employment for "single-handedly designing the first personal computer and for then redirecting his lifelong passion for mathematics and electronics toward lighting the fires of excitement for education in grade school students and their teachers."

Wozniak has several nicknames, including "The Woz" and "Wizard of Woz." "WoZ" (short for "Wheels of Zeus") is also the name of a company Wozniak founded. Woz also developed the initial prototype of the classic Atari game Breakout in record time. He is known for his introverted character, and he finds his level of celebrity somewhat annoying. He is also known as the "Other Steve" of Apple Computer, the more prominent Steve being co-founder and current CEO Steve Jobs, Wikipedia writes.
