Apple has posted several job listings for experts in voice technologies such as speech recognition, iOS software development for speech applications, and speech research, according to CNet’s Crave blog.

Specifically, Apple wants a Senior Speech Research Scientist, one iOS Speech Application Engineer, and two Speech Recognition Engineers.

All job descriptions sound alike. Apple entices potential applicants by rhetorically asking “Are you looking to contribute to a product that is redefining the smartphone?”

“The iOS Application Frameworks team is looking for an exceptional Speech Research Scientist,” reads the description for iOS Speech Application Engineer.

According to Apple, this individual will work with an engineering team on a wide variety of speech-related development activities.
