The lawsuit filed by the Korean company does not have the intended result

Samsung and Apple continue to attack each other, quite openly, in the court of law, or rather courts of law, since they are several.

Though the litigation in the US is the most infamous right now, the two companies have been battling in other countries as well.

Each wants the other to be forbidden from marketing certain tablets and smartphones, arguing that doing so would mean continuing to infringe their patents.

Samsung is the one taking a blow this time. Again.

The Japanese court found that Apple did not infringe any mobile-related patents claimed by Samsung, so it can sell its devices in the Land of the Rising Sun all it wants.

Samsung may or may not appeal the ruling, or try to protect its IP through other means after this, Reuters reports.
