With Apple inviting iPhone devs to join the Tech Talk World Tour, TUAW gives word that the Mac maker has also announced plans to host seven seminars across the U.S, targeting IT managers, administrators, server architects, technology coordinators, etc. The focus will be the Snow Leopard Server, with hardware and software overviews, as well as discussions of setup, administration, and integration of the company’s most powerful server operating system yet.

“Snow Leopard Server makes it easier than ever for people to collaborate, communicate, and share information,” Apple reveals on its website, under Education. “Before you know it, your organization will be exchanging files with each other, collaborating on projects, accessing information remotely, creating and distributing podcasts, and more. In one afternoon, you’ll learn about exciting new features and enhancements and see how Snow Leopard Server is transforming organizations like yours using Macs, PCs, and iPhone devices. Space is limited, so reserve your seat today,” the Mac maker says.

Those involved with content production are likely to be interested in seminars focusing on Podcast Producer 2, TUAW points out. System Administrators may also be enticed by the possibility to ease their workload via scripting. According to the 2009 Tour Schedule, stops include Boston, MA / October 27; New York, NY / October 29; Seattle, WA / November 17; Chicago, IL / December 1; Washington, DC / December 3; Cupertino, CA / December 8; Los Angeles, CA / December 10.

As for the full seminar agenda, Apple lists the following: (complete list of seminars)

“This seminar is ideal for business and K-12 or Higher Education IT managers, IT administrators, IS managers, IS directors, server architects, technology coordinators, and production managers, as well as chairpersons, faculty, deans, and administrators of technology for educational institutions,” Apple adds, suggesting everyone who fits the description should consider attending.
