Apple's accusations begin to branch out and target others

Like every day for the past couple of weeks, we have something new to report on the Apple-Samsung patent spat going on in San Jose, California.

Yesterday's report was relatively benign, all things considered. It showed the sales numbers of Apple's and Samsung's phones and tablets.

Now, though, Apple has filed a 67-page document as evidence, on that says numerous patents are infringed not just by Samsung's devices, but all Android phones and slates.

"Apple has identified dozens of examples where Android is using or encouraging others to use Apple patented technology," the document reads. "Apple has not authorized the use of any of these patents."

The document was shown to Samsung back in August 2010 and was meant to convince Samsung to license the technologies Apple claims were "stolen" by Android.
