Apple is now preparing to distribute even more content through the iTunes application after the company made a new partnership with the Palms Casino from Las Vegas. Apple intends to bring live concerts of the most famous bands in the entire world straight into their iTunes Store, an important multimedia shop for all the music fans. The content will be based on live concerts bundled with extended song lists and behind-the-scenes interviews as Jim Dalrymple reports.

"The Pearl is set to make its grand debut with a performance by Evanescence on March 17. We are thrilled to offer live performances from GRAMMY-winning artists such as Evanescence at The Pearl on the iTunes Store," said Palms owner George Maloof. "Not only is The Pearl the most stunning concert venue in the country, but it's the first major live music venue to be built from the ground up with iTunes in mind," the same author reported.

On the official website of the Palm Casino, there are multiple concerts and events presented, but the first one will be surely Evanescence, one of the most famous alternative rock bands in the world. Other names include Carlos Mencia, Gwen Stefani and Alejandro Sanz.

As I already said, the Apple iPhone Store represents an important multimedia center for both users and the company but it is one of the most important sources of revenues for the Mac developer. Using this powerful partnership with the Palm Casino that is continuously organizing attractive events with famous bands from every corner of the world, Apple aims to boost the number of the iPod owners as well as the company's revenues after more and more users will be lured to buy multimedia content from the online store.
