On that note, Antec, a world renowned vendor of computer chassis and accessories, is preparing to launch a new gaming case, specifically designed to accommodate the latest hardware components on the market. Adding up to the company's previously-launched Two Hundred, Three Hundred, Nine Hundred and Twelve Hundred, the new Antec Six Hundred is expected to become available soon.
As gaming enthusiasts already know, the Antec Nine Hundred and Twelve Hundred are an ideal choice for building a high-end desktop PC that performs well-above average. The addition of the new Six Hundred case will provide high-end and DIY users with a choice for a new chassis that can keep their system running cool and within optimum levels.
According to available details, which have been made available on the Internet, the new case will measure in at 491 (H) x 212 (W) x 492 (D) mm, while the weight is said to be at 6.9kg. There's no word on the material that has been used on the upcoming chassis, but the Antec Six Hundred will provide its users with support for up to three 5.25-inch drives, six 3.5-inch hard drives and up to 7 PCI components. Additional features include top and side windows for keeping an eye on the internal configuration, three USB 2.0 ports and two audio ports, available in the front panel, and a cable management compartment.
As far as cooling is concerned, the upcoming Six Hundred chassis from Antec is said to feature a blue LED-equipped 120mm TwoCool fan, mounted at the back of the chassis, while a 200mm TriCool blue LED fan sits on top. According to Tech Connect, the Antec Six Hundred is already listed in Europe for pre-order, going for a price tag of 60.80 Euro.
