It looks like Antec and Asetek decided to join forces again, this once making the KUHLER H20 920, a successor to the very popular H2O 620, also a high-end cooling device that is sealed and prefilled.

The thing about liquid cooling systems is that the user commonly has to set it up himself, out of several parts, like pumps, knobs, radiators etc.

Then, there are companies that like to do this work for their customers, by offering what can be seen as self-contained solutions.

In other words, there are water coolers that can be used like any air cooler, though their builds are still different from just the fan plus heatsink and heatpipe designs.

The KUHLER H2O 620 was one such product, and it appears that Antec and Asetek created a successor called H2O 920.

It has a third-generation copper cold plate, a 49mm-thick radiator and a low-profile pump, plus a pair of 120mm PWM fans for good measure (rotary speed is 700 to 2400 RPM).

"Like the popular KUHLER H2O 620, the KUHLER H2O 920 provides the benefits of water cooling in a sealed and prefilled unit, with zero maintenance required," said Tak Niwa, director BU 1, enclosures and accessories at Antec.

"It's a very powerful and capable solution giving users the freedom to finely tune and customize cooling to fit their needs."

The Advanced Fan Control technology (developed by Asetek) lets the fan speeds be adjusted depending on the liquid temperature. Also, customizable RGB LEDs are present.

"Asetek drew on its deep experience with the enthusiast community when developing the new control technologies featured in the Antec KUHLER H2O 920," said Steve Branton, director of marketing at Asetek.

"Enthusiasts will appreciate the interactive control experience KUHLER H2O 920 delivers with its combination of excellent performance, liquid temperature fan control and the ChillControl 5 application."

Priced at $119.95, sales should start by the end of the month. Pre-orders can be set here (a three-year warranty is offered).
