Antec unleashed a great many PC cases, power supplier and coolers over the years, covering the entire market segment, from the entry-level all the way up to the enthusiast front. The newest product that the company let loose seems to be aimed at the upper half of the consumer base. Said product is a CPU cooling solution that will act as the successor to the KUHLER Shelf. Going by the name fo KUHLER Flow, the newcomer brings the benefits of both silence and cooling effectiveness to chips manufactured by Intel and Advanced Micro Devices.

The KUHLER Flow has seven copper heatpipes which draw the heat away from the base plate and send it into the fin array. Said heatsink spreads the heat, which is then dispersed by a 120mm PWM fan. The fan itself is noteworthy not just through the fact that it does a good job of taking care of the heat, but also because of its rubber grommets. Said grommets do an excellent job of reducing vibration, the result being a much lower sound output than would otherwise be possible.

The entire device measures 122 (H) x 157 (W) x 108 (D) mm, weighs 0.7kg and can be coupled with a significant amount of central processing units (CPUs) from both AMD and Intel Corp. The list is made up of chips compatible with the former's sockets AM2, AM2+ and AM3 (AMD Phenom II, AMD Athlon II and AMD Sempron 100 series), as well as Intel LGA 1366, 1156 and 775 (Intel Core i7, Intel Core i5, Intel Core 2 Extreme, Intel Core 2 Quad, Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Pentium D).

The Antec KUHLER Flow has not yet become available worldwide, but Australian retailers already list it with a price of AUD 74. This is the equivalent of 65 USD and the listing itself can be found here.
