“Ant-Man” director Edgar Wright knows how to keep fans on the edge of their seat. In a recent post on his personal blog, he presented his followers with a snapshot from the animated series “The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes” which he titled “Homework.”

It would seem the director is busy these days catching up on everything related to the insect-related superhero, but also dropping hints for the upcoming movie.

Some very insightful fans picked up that the photo posted by Wright displays the Ant-Man persona of Scott Lang and not the original one of Hank Pym.

This could be clear indication of the version of Ant-Man the movie adaptation will also be focusing on, something that's been widely debated since production was first announced.

For those that aren't very familiar with this Marvel hero, Ant-Man was embodied by more than one guy. The original Ant-Man was scientist Hank Pym, who retired and left the superheroing to Scott Lang and later, to Eric O'Grady.

The on-screen Ant-Man will be played by comedic actor Paul Rudd, as was revealed last month. Initial speculation gave the part to Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but he took on a different superhero movie, “Sandman.”
