Turn any part of a song into a ringtone for your phone

It doesn't really matter how wide the variety of ringtones provided by a mobile operator is, because there will always be that one favorite song that you'll want to have as a ringtone and they don't have.

A new company has a solution for this, making it easy for customers to customize their phones and turn any part of any song into a ringtone.

OwnYourPhone.com was created the moment that co-founder Daniel Hornal discovered, after having bought a new cell phone, how hard it is to find the ringtone he was looking for, if he could find it at all. The process of searching for a ringtone was tiresome and costly.

In some cases, it is not the whole part of the song that you want as a ringtone but a certain part of it. Some companies charged up to $4 for a ringtone and wouldn't even let you clip the song.

"The great thing about OwnYourPhone.com is that you can select exactly what you want to have on your phone, without installing any software on your computer, then download it to your phone without having to mess with cables and software," said Adam Eivy, Co-Founder of OwnYourPhone.com.

OwnYourPhone.com will not only allow people to transform practically any part of a song into a ringtone but it will also enable them to make ringtones out of their own music. So all those independent musicians, DJs and highly creative people out there will be able to record themselves and put their own creations on their mobile phones.

"The site is really easy to use, and I'm super proud of it," said Hornal. "OwnYourPhone.com puts people back in the driver's seat. We paid for the music, we paid for our phones, and it should be our decision what to do with them."
