Oddly enough, it is just as sold out as all other boards on Newegg

Like several others of AMD's partners, PowerColor has announced its own Radeon HD 7970 graphics adapter.

Alas, anyone interested in buying it will have to wait for a while.

This isn't because PowerColor isn't ready to sell them, but because the cards are already sold out, on Newegg at least.

Like all the other cards, MSI's and Club 3D's being just two examples, it sticks to AMD's reference specifications.

Interested buyers may as well go here and see for themselves the clock speeds, memory capacity and other features.

No word yet on when stocks will be replenished.

Either way, the speed with which the 28nm-based graphics card sold, even at $550 (433 Euro, give or take) spells good things for Advanced Micro Devices.
