The website of Colombia’s Ministry of Justice (mij.gov.co) has been disrupted by Anonymous hacktivists as a form of protest against the “corrupt politicians” and the justice reform that’s currently being debated by the country’s officials.

The breach took place on Friday, the website of the ministry being taken offline until Saturday morning, The Hacker News reports.

The Justice Ministry’s website wasn’t the only target of Anonymous last week. The one of the Cambio Radical, a conservative liberal political party, was also hacked and defaced.

The attack took place on Friday, shortly after the one on the site of the Justice Ministry.

This is not the first time when hacktivists protest against Colombia’s political class. Back in 2011, they breached the sites of the president, and a number of government organizations.

At press time, both sites were back online, but mij.gov.co still seemed to be experiencing some performance issues.
