Anonymous hackers have breached a website of Tordesillas, the Spanish town that’s famous for Toro de la Vega, a controversial festival in which a bull is slaughtered. The hacktivists have defaced the website as part of a campaign dubbed OpToroDeLaVega.

“A dead man still alive, a dead man with a death foretold. A dead man who will be tortured before he dies,” the hackers wrote in Spanish on the defaced website.

They've also sent a warning message to politicians who allow the ritual to take place every year, 20Minutos.es reported.

This is not the first time when Anonymous hackers target Tordesillas websites in protest against the festival. Back in early August, a similar hack attack took place. Numerous animal rights groups are protesting against Toro de la Vega. At this year’s event, a total of 12 people were injured.
