The Uriminzokkiri Twitter account is still controlled by the hackers

At the beginning of April, Anonymous hackers breached the website and Twitter account of Uriminzokkiri, a North Korean news service. Today, the website has been once again hacked, along with a number of other North Korean news sites.

Uriminzokkiri hasn’t managed to recover its Twitter account, so the hackers are still utilizing it to boast about their “achievements.”

“More of North Korean websites are in our hand. They will be brought down,” the hackers tweeted a few hours ago.

Shortly after the message was published, they have started listing the sites they've breached. Besides uriminzokkiri.com, the list of defaced websites includes paekdu-hanna.com, minjok.com, jajusasang.com and ryugyongclip.com.

At the time of writing, jajusasang.com was restored, but the rest of the websites have been taken offline.

On the hijacked Uriminzokkiri Twitter account, the hackers published screenshots of all the defacements.

In a statement published after the first series of attacks, the hacktivists claimed to have people “on the ground” helping them with the operation.
