The website belonging to Mexico’s "Accion National" political party was breached by the local Anonymous group and hackers from Sector 404.

As a result of the breach, personal information belonging to more than 150 mayors and deputies was published online, including names, titles, addresses and phone numbers.

“We have discovered information on our beloved mayors and deputies,” said the hackers in a statement that accompanied the leaked data.

Hackers from Sector 404 have been keeping themselves busy lately. At the beginning of December they managed to breach the Spanish website of the United Nations’ Refugee Agency (ACNUR), leaking tons of sensitive data on their customers and site administrators.

At the time, they also published a username and a password that allegedly belonged to US President Barack Obama, but since the source of the log-in credentials wasn’t clear, no one gave it too much importance.
