Over the past years, November 5 has been the day on which activists and hacktivists gather to protest governments. It appears this year will be no different.

Several video statements have been published on YouTube to announce November 5, 2013 operations. Anonymous hackers from both the United States and the United Kingdom have announced their intentions to protest both online and in real life.

“November 5, 2013, is a fresh start. November 5, 2013, is a choice. It’s the choice that you make that’s going to change everything. It’s the choice that we make as a nation, as a group, as humanity,” the hackers said in one of the videos.

On November 5, 2012, several websites from all over the world were hacked by Anonymous. On the other hand, attacks against targets such as Facebook were unsuccessful.
