OK, I expect that most of you multimedia lovers out there already know Crosley and their cool products... but here's the nifty piece of news, Crosley aren't alone anymore: Grace Digital Inc. have just announced their latest contraption in the field of one-thing-does-them-all, the Victoria Tunewriter.

This neat piece of technology brings together the old-school turntable and cassette player with the modern CD-RW drive and ripping algorithms; you can now use the Victoria Tunewriter to rip your long-lost favorite hits and store them on CDs so you can enjoy them for many years from now on, all with ease and quickly!

Victoria Tunewriter comes with a paprika wooden casing shaped in a most retro way, looking more like a turntable at the beginning of the 20th century, with a faceplate made of antiqued metal and slotted speaker grilles covered with cloth, much like any of your grandma's radios used to look like.

This adds to the special "feel" of the Victoria Tunewriter and makes this gadget a nifty addition in almost any d?cor, especially as it comes with a small footprint that can reside very well on tables or shelves.

The turntable can spin your vinyls at 33,45 and even 78 RPM while the side-loading slotted player will handle any type of cassettes you might still own. Just make sure you clean up the dust from them! Recording from both vinyls and cassettes is made directly on a CD, as the optical drive will burn your fav audio discs and compilations from these sources. For better control, you also get a recoding meter level and a recording volume knob for an even volume throughout the whole compilation or album.

The player comes with a 32-track memory while being able to handle CDA CD-R and CD-RW and the radio tuner will allow you to keep in touch with your local or national news and shows. The audio is deployed via dual full-range, hi-quality speakers with a wide and lively stereo spacing or it can be set for personal listening using the headphones jack. You also get an LCD display with back light and a full-function remote control for more comfort. Everything retails for less than $300 and this might be the tool you were looking for in order to save the music from your aging cassettes or vinyls. Neat!

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
