14 DAY TRIAL // Rovio, the owner of the beloved Angry Birds franchise announced a few months ago its first match-3 puzzle game, Angry Birds Fight!
The game was released on both Android and iOS platforms back in May, but it was only available in Asia Pacific countries. Rovio promised last month that Angry Birds Fight! would be available globally in early summer.
True to its promise, Rovio released the game on Android and iOS, which is now available for free via Google Play Store and App Store.
Unlike most of its previous titles that are physics-based puzzle games, Angry Birds Fight! is aimed at Candy Crush Saga fans. This is Rovio's first match-3 puzzle game and it does seem to be a success with more than 1 million downloads since release.
According to developers, Angry Birds Fight! is “a match-3 frenzy where you take on other players in real-time battles of strategic, bird swapping agility!”
Challenge other players worldwide in real-time matches
You can play against friends in real-time matches and race against the clock to match as many panels as possible to power up your bird for the fight.
It's also possible to equip your birds with weird weapons and funny armor in order to give them more health, attack power and also some special skills to give you the edge.
As mentioned earlier, you will be able to challenge other players globally in real-time match-3 puzzles. In addition, if you match four tiles, you will activate special powers, while matching 5 tiles will allow you to start “Fever Time.”
You can now download Angry Birds Fight! for Android for free via Google Play store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
For iOS users, the game is available for download via App Store. It should run smoothly on all devices powered by iOS 6.0 or later.
