Beside rolling out quite a large number of cool products over the past couple of years, the people over at GEAR4 have also manage to successfully combine some of the most popular and trendy products of late 2010/early 2011, namely Angry Birds and the iPad 2.

Without a doubt, there are very few people who're not familiar with Rovio's hit game, Angry Birds, which has engulfed numerous platforms to date and offers casual (and less so) gamers a very interesting gaming experience.

For this reason, the idea of associating this already famous brand with Apple's iPad 2 Internet tablet (that will also run this famous game) seemed quite a cool one, this being the reason why GEAR4 introduced a new series of Angry Birds-inspired protective cases for the new iOS portable device.

The new cases are manufactured from a polycarbonate material and they're sure to provide quite a good level of protection for the Apple iPad tablet stored within, which, after all, is their most important feature (well, that and drawing some attention to their users from other Angry Birds fans out there).

More importantly, the new iPad 2 protective cases from GEAR4 are available in three models that Angry Birds fans will immediately love, namely Family Shot, Pig King vs. Red Bird and Red Bird, so that users can opt for the version that best fits their tastes (or who knows, perhaps they'll get all of them).

This is not the company's first foray into the segment of Angry Birds-inspired products, given the fact that GEAR4 also released a couple of iPhone 4 protective cases built around the same brand.

Last, but certainly not least, it's important to point out that, according to Geeky Gadgets, the new Angry Birds iPad 2 protective cases from GEAR4 won't even be that expensive, each model selling for around 64 US dollars (or roughly 40 pounds sterling).
