Sylvester Stallone has managed the impossible: reuniting every action star in Hollywood, from the early '80s until nowadays under the same movie franchise. His success, though debatable among critics, is undeniable at the box office. Now there are plans for a female version.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that the idea of “The Expendabelles” movie is not new, as it’s been floating around for some time. As “The Expendables 3” has just opened in theaters, the first casting rumors are beginning to emerge.

Stallone apparently has one name on his list, and that name belongs to Sigourney Weaver, the actress made famous by the sci-fi franchise Alien. The idea is that Sigourney would play Stallone’s on-screen wife and that her character would get half the team with the most estrogen in a scripted divorce. “So she'd get the house, the kids and my mercenaries!” Sly said.

Meanwhile, younger co-star Kellan Lutz has expressed interest in seeing Angelina Jolie appear in the female version of the action movie. When asked about some of the female faces that would pull off such a role, Kellan exclaimed, “Cate Blanchett, Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Biel ... I mean there's just so many, that could be in there.”

So far, no plans have been laid on paper, so anything heard at this point is just speculation.
