14 DAY TRIAL // One of the highest mediated couples in showbiz, if not actually the most mediated, is going through a rough patch. Brad Pitt is reportedly sick of Angelina Jolie’s jealous fits, especially after an incident that occurred recently, and that ended with him being slapped across the face and the nanny being thrown out of the house, Star magazine reports via the Daily Mail.
The US publication claims to have it from very reliable sources close to the two that Angelina’s latest jealousy fit has put a damper on their love affair, all the more so in the context in which her outburst was completely uncalled for. According to spies, Jolie walked in the twins’ room to find Brad Pitt patting the nanny on the back. Instead of seeing this as a friendly gesture, she allegedly flew into a rage and started screaming at the two.
With Angelina yelling her lungs out, the twins woke up and started crying, the same insiders claim. This is when Brad tried to convince her to keep her voice down, while also doing his best to comfort the distraught nanny. Again, Jolie took this as a sign that there was more between them than just the normal relationship between employer and employee, and slapped Brad across the face, while urging the nanny to get out of the house and never come back again.
“She got right in Brad’s face, screaming at the top of her lungs, and told the nanny to get out of her house and never come back. The argument woke up the sleeping twins, who began to cry. As Brad tried to console both the twins and the nanny, Angie just snapped – and slapped! – hitting him right across the face.” the source, who has chosen to remain anonymous, says for Star magazine. Reportedly, the outburst got Brad so mad that he too had to leave the house and go for a four-hour bike ride to calm down and return back to Angelina.
Of course, this is not the first time that reports about Angelina and Brad’s allegedly troubled relationship emerge in the media. Precisely because of this – and on account of the fact that the story sounds a bit too much like what we’d see in a daytime soap opera – the latest reports should be taken with a grain of salt, it has been said.
