Angelina Jolie never made any attempts to hide her wild side from back in the day, mostly because it would be useless to try it since she was once so open about it. A new book aims to reveal just how wild it was, detailing her torrid affair with Mick Jagger – among many others.

To this day, when she opts to live her life as much as possible out of the spotlight, Angelina Jolie continues to fascinate.

She also did so when she was younger: an up and coming actress with a heroin addiction, self-esteem issues, into all sorts of weird practices, and so wild she actually verged on very dangerous.

Mick met Angelina on the set of the Rolling Stones' video for “Anybody Seen My Baby?” and was completely smitten by her, Christopher Andersen writes in his new book “MICK: The Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger,” excerpts of which are found in the NY Daily News.

He was attracted to her dark side and he started pursuing her almost immediately – but not before her own mother played matchmaker.

Both Angelina and Mick were married at the time, but that seemed to matter very little, the book claims.

“Angie’s Jagger-obsessed mother, actress-producer Marcheline Bertrand, felt otherwise. Although Jolie was already married to British actor Jonny Lee Miller of 'Trainspotting' fame and carrying on an affair with actor Timothy Hutton, Marche felt that her daughter needed a man like Mick,” Andersen writes.

Mick started calling Angelina shortly after they wrapped shooting for the video but, at first, she wanted nothing to do with him.

“Angelina, it’s Mick. Will you please, please call me?” Mick told her in one of the many messages he left on her phone at the time.

“Miss Jolie, why aren’t you returning my calls?” “Angelina, I have got to speak to you. Call me.”

In almost no time, he was pleading with her, “literally sobbing” to get her to agree to a meeting. She conceded, thus entering a torrid affair with the rocker, which would end in 1999.

“Eventually she did accept an invitation to spend time with Mick in Palm Beach, Florida, during a break in the Bridges to Babylon tour that fall. The weekend left Angelina unimpressed and Mick wanting more,” writes the author.

“Angie was doing a marvelous job of 'messing with Mick’s head.' Jagger’s stop-and-go romance with Angelina Jolie lurched on for another two years — and even that was not the end of it,” Andersen says.

If one is to believe the report, during this time, Angelina was seeing Mick, her ex-husband Miller, Timothy Hutton, but also Russell Crowe, future husband Billy Bob Thornton and Nicolas Cage.
