Motorola Morrison is yet another mobile phone that was spotted quite some time now on T-Mobile's roadmap running under Google's Android operating system; now, enthusiasts are able to enjoy a better quality image with the device. The handset that can be seen in the image recently published on MiniSuit looks very much like the one seen before in a thumbnail, though more details can be observed.

As one can notice, the phone is colorful enough to suggest that it will probably be targeted at the young people looking for devices that would allow them to access social networking sites, in line with what Motorola said about its Android handset. For what it's worth, the QWERTY keyboard on the phone looks quite decent, which means that it should prove to be a good messaging device in the end.

Even so, there are great chances that the Motorola Morrison would turn into a rather affordable Android-powered device, and it should appeal to youngsters a lot, though it remains to be seen what level of performance it will be able to provide. In the meantime, we should also wait for T-Mobile to make an official announcement on the phone, especially since the carrier's logo can be seen so clearly on the handset's front.

Morrison will sport touchscreen capabilities along with the sliding keypad, and it seems that another version of the handset, supposedly called Calgary, might also surface in the near future. According to the news, the second Android device from Motorola should become available on Verizon's airwaves, and it should be a CDMA equivalent of the Morrison. Moreover, the carrier is expected to release it before the end of the year, given the fact that it was impressed with the phone's performance speed.

For the time being, there are no official details on none of the handsets, though some words should be said soon, as all clues point towards a near launch of the devices. Hopefully, they will also perform well on the market, as their maker needs to regain some of the market share it lost lately in front of powerful rivals such as BlackBerry and iPhone.
