South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has started once again the rollout of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system update to the owners of Galaxy S4 phones out there.

A few days ago, wireless carrier AT&T confirmed that the update was available for its Galaxy S4 customers, but it seems that, in fact, the rollout has kicked off globally, as SamMobile notes.

At the moment, users in European countries such as Germany, France, and the UK are starting to see the new software as available for their devices, and it might not be too long before the same happens in more markets.

Users who have already downloaded and installed the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean platform on their smartphones will be provided with a smaller update meant to resolve the issues that the previous release has arrived with.

Those who are still running under Android 4.2 Jelly Bean will receive the full set of enhancements that the new OS update was meant to provide them with.

This includes support for Samsung KNOX, along with Samsung Galaxy Gear compatibility, a series of updated applications, enhancements to the user interface, and the like.

The new firmware will land on devices with build number I9505XXUEMKE attached. According to allaboutsamsung.de, the build is dated November 27.

For the time being, the update can be downloaded and installed only via the Samsung Kies desktop application, though Samsung is expected to start pushing it out over-the-air as well in the not too distant future.

Users can check for its availability through heading to Settings > About Phone > Software updates, and clicking on the Check Now button.

Keep in mind that the rollout is most likely performed in stages, which means that it will not be available for all users at the same time. Some of you might have to wait several days for it to arrive.
