iCooly turns the iPod touch into small iMac

It's a well known fact (and a proven one, too) that, as a kid, all you want to do is roll with the big league - you want to act like a grownup, speak like a grownup, walk and look like a grownup. The iPod touch is no different. The small touchscreen device from Apple has seen the iMac's sleek design as it was leaving the factory and has dreamed of growing up to be just like it ever since. Well iPod touch, your wish has been granted!

While your specs and measurements will remain the same, RockRidgeSound has crafted out this nifty Halloween costume for lil' ol' you, dubbed the iCooly. This aluminum jacket is supposed to make you look like the much bigger and higher-specced friend of yours, the iMac. Go ahead, try it out!

Well, what do you know - a perfect fit! OK, now try moving about, see how it feels.

Awesome little dude! You've now got what it takes to call yourself the "iMac mini." Just don't try running too many programs at once - you don't want to get tired or anything.

As you might have already sensed, that aluminum jacket isn't all that heavy either - just 55 grams. Your 90 degree pivot function lets your user watch videos on your screen either horizontally (landscape view) or vertically. And, since you like your new aluminum jacket so much, you get to sleep in it too - no need for the user to take it off in order to switch your power off. The iCooly even has a dock connection inside.

Your jacket's makers say only included extension cable, headphones, external speakers or headphones can be connected, so be sure to let your owner in on that. Expect some calls from a modeling agency too. As soon as folks see the new you in the pictures below, the phone will be ringing off the hook.

The iCooly will retail for ?4,980 (around $47) when it's made available on June 7th in Japan. No word on availability for other territories yet.
