Russound's four expensive multi-room audio systems

Russound, the renowned multi-room audio and video specialist, unveiled its latest range of audio controller-amps to the Australian market through its distributor - LeisureTech. The multi-room audio method allows the user to listen to different music in different rooms at the same time from one system.

The CAM6.6- S1 ($6500) is a six zone/six-source audio controller, meaning it can distribute six audio to six listening zones simultaneously, and it comes with six Uno-S1 five-character LCD keypads.

CAM6.6T- S1 ($7500) is also a six zone/six-source controller which comes with a six Uno-S1 LCD keypads and an AM/FM tuner. The system is expandable up to 36 zones and has RNET capability (Russound's communications platform), enabling direct communication with other Russound devices.

There are also other two cheaper models available- CAS44L ($4000) and CAA66L ($5000).

CAS44L controls only a four zone/four-source surface, coming with four PKL keypads. The client can connect it to an iPod, adjust bass, balance and volume using any PKL keypad.

CAA66L ($5000) is a six zone/six-source audio controller at 40 watts per zone, including six KPL keypads, port for compatibility with home control systems, and the user can connect an iPod to the system. It can also be expanded up to 36 zones.
