Amy Winehouse may already be back in the studio – or thinking about getting there – to work on a new album that will hopefully come out by the end of the year, as her father Mitch has been telling the British media. Before she comes out with new music, though, Amy still has other issues to see to, which is why she’s agreed to go to rehab again, as The Sun informs.

We were also telling you a short while ago that the troubled singer has finally realized it was best if she never picked up where she left off with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil and just started to get her life back on track without him. She struck up a closer relationship with filmmaker Reg Traviss, whom her father describes as a “normal bloke.” It was Traviss who convinced the singer to go back to rehab and kick her alcohol addiction once and for all, the tab claims.

Admittedly, Traviss convinced Amy to head back to rehab over the weekend, though confirmation of that is still pending. “Amy Winehouse has spent the weekend drying out – in an effort to keep her man. The singer had a skinful last week and was admitted to her favorite hospital, The London Clinic, on Friday. She spends more time there than anywhere else,” The Sun writes.

The tab even has confirmation from several sources that Reg talked Amy into seeking help – or he’s out of the picture. “Her new fella, film producer Reg Traviss, isn’t too happy about her boozing. A source said: ‘When she’s not on the bottle they get on brilliantly.’ But Reg has told her to quit the booze, otherwise he’ll be off, and she hit it hard last week. ‘She wants to keep him so has decided to make a huge effort to stay sober’,” the tab further says.

As fans would know, this is not the first time that Amy Winehouse checks herself into some sort of facility in order to seek help for her addictions. Her father, Mitch, insists she’s no longer using heavy drugs but that she still has a long battle to weigh before being able to say she is one hundred percent clean.
