In a recent interview with E!, “American Hustle” actress Amy Adams talks about a particularly hot scene where she has to make out with Jennifer Lawrence. Add to that that she also has a scene in the film in which she goes full monty, and you just have 2 good reasons to go watch “American Hustle.”

Another reason should be that it was named best movie of the year by numerous critics.

We now go behind the scenes of the '70s con film and find out that the lovely Amy Adams had to do a kissing scene with younger co-star Jennifer Lawrence. If you've imagined this scene numerous times in your head, Amy can now confirm that Jennifer has “soft and full lips.”

“It's funny because after the first take of that, I ended up with lipstick out to here,” laughed Amy, gesturing with her finger to a region just below her nose. “She has very full lips – and also playing somebody who's not puckering for a kiss, it's really interesting how a kiss hits you when you're not participating in it,” she added.

Although it was supposed to be a really dramatic scene, behind the scenes, there were girly giggles as both actresses couldn't keep a straight face, presumably after they smeared each other's faces with lipstick just like clowns.

Adams confides: “I came up with the idea, but [Jennifer] executed it in a way that felt driven purely from character. It didn't just feel like a moment where two girls are going to kiss onscreen – it felt emotional. And the laugh she gives after? That was genius ...”

After a heated lip bout with the feisty “Hunger Games” actress, Amy Adams reveals that she actually threw her neck out, which isn't something that happens everyday to people kissing, so there must have been some passion on the set that day.

On her scenes in full monty, Amy said that the director told her at the very last minute and that she only agreed if he allowed her to look at the scene. He conceded and they shot it in a subtle manner, but Amy laughs: “I let it go, just gotta let it go.”

Also starring Christian Bale as a toupee-wearing con man and Bradley Cooper as a perm-sporting FBI agent, “American Hustle” is touted as one of this year's best films with the tagline “Everyone hustles to survive.”
