14 DAY TRIAL // A new piece of PC-over-IP (PCoIP) hardware has joined the existing range of PCoIP and VMWare blade solutions, courtesy of Amulet Hotkey.
Amulet Hotkey has developed the DXM610X blade, what it calls the “first PCoIP workstation blade focused on providing the computing and graphics performance required by state of the art 3D design and CAD/CAM software.”
While compact, it is powered by dual Intel Xeon processors and an NVIDIA Quadro 4000 graphics controller.
Basically, it will deliver high-quality graphics over an IP network while preserving the security of the data center.

Amulet Hotkey started promoting this type of PCoIP multi-monitor blade architecture back in 2009, when it launched the DXM600 quad-head workstation blade.
