Just a few hours ago, American rock band .38 Special announced that it had decided not to perform at SeaWorld Orlando's upcoming Bands, Brew & BBQ festival.

The band took to Facebook to let its fans know that, although its SeaWorld concert on March 9 had been canceled, .38 Special would try to schedule another performance in the area in the not so distant future.

Like most of the other bands and musicians that have thus far bailed on SeaWorld Orlando, .38 Special admitted that documentary film “Blackfish” was the reason behind its choosing not to take part in the Bands, Brew & BBQ festival.

“Due to concerns raised by the CNN documentary ‘Blackfish,’ 38 Special will be canceling its scheduled March 9th concert at Seaworld. We appreciate the outpouring of support and especially apologize to our Orlando fans,” the band wrote on its Facebook page.

Furthermore, “We will try and schedule another performance in your area in the near future. The band wishes everyone a happy holiday season and look forward to seeing you all again in 2014.”

Now that .38 Special has also canceled its performance, the festival is left with just two musical acts: Scotty McCreery and Justin Moore.
