“American Pie,” the movie franchise that debuted with a bang over a decade ago, lost much of its initial appeal in the more recent installments, to the point where fans were begging it to go away.
However, what makes “American Reunion” special is the fact that it brings back together all members of the old gang – and the trailer promises fun as shameless as in the original film.
Written and directed by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, “American Reunion” is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 6, 2012.
Some fans have already vouched to stay away from it because they don't want to “taint” the memory of the 1999 original. Check out the trailer to see if you're among them.
