14 DAY TRIAL // Season 12 of American Idol is all about girl power. The top 5 was revealed last night after the only male left in the competition, Lazaro Arbos, got the boot. Check out the video above for a quick recap.
Kree Harrison and Candice Glover were voted top 2 this week, after all the votes came in.
Angie Miller and Janelle Arthur were voted the middle two, while Amber Holcomb and Lazaro landed on the bottom two positions.
The judges could have used their “Save” to keep Lazaro on the show but, as it turns out, they refused to do so. He is officially out of the picture.
This also means that, for the first time ever in the history of the show, the top 5 contenders to the much coveted title of American Idol are women.
