American consumers are much more exposed to threats popping out of their cans, since only a few people who truly care about their health are fully aware of what they are eating.

In an attempt to annihilate unnecessary risks, Green America and its partners are trying to convince the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to label accordingly genetically engineered food.

So far, all these initiatives have met the resistance of FDA that refused to comply with this request. Under these circumstances, organizations concerned about poor health standards displayed in the US are joining forces to launch a legal petition meant to support their cause.

The partners are struggling to encourage more and more followers to let the US government know that they are keen on finding out what's really hidden in their food.

There is no place left to run and hide from genetically engineered crops, at least not in America. Green America highlights that up to 70% of processed food we could find in supermarket contains GE ingredients, according to a reports issued by the Center for Food Safety.
