14 DAY TRIAL // People are interested to know if Amber Rose, who has recently divorced her husband of one year, Wiz Khalifa, has already found herself a new man in her life. Speculations ran rife that she was in a secret relationship with Nick Cannon, who has also recently divorced his own wife, Mariah Carey.
While none of the two divorces has been finalized, Nick has expressed interest to take over Amber's career and launch her into television. This did not help the secret relationship rumors at all. Us Weekly claims to have spoken to Amber last week, during the Launch Party of XXIV Karat, which took place at the Beverly Hills Hilton.
Amber claims she's fine after the divorce, but not looking for a new relationship
The model told the magazine that she was “doing pretty good.” She was careful to add that “I am going through a divorce and technically I'm single I guess you could say but I'm just not ready for that. I'm focused on my son and I'm focused on work and I really don't have time for a man right now.”
That is a weird thing to say because right after the split, she was seen going out with Gene Simmons’ son on what looked very much like a date, with dancing, clubbing and lots of alcohol.
But she swears that she's not looking to hook up again and she's certainly not in a relationship with Nick Cannon, something he was also keen to make clear on several occasions while speaking with the press.
Then Amber went on speaking and gushing about her 19-month-old son, Sebastian, whose father is Wiz Khalifa. “He's talking a lot now and he's obsessed with pumpkins. All day it's, 'Pumpkin, pumpkin!' I'm gonna dress him as a pumpkin too [for Halloween]. It's going to be awesome.”
2015 is going to be the year Amber Rose begins to focus on herself
As for her plans for next year, Amber says she's going to focus on herself and her career. There were some rumors at the beginning of the month that she and Wiz were going to sit down and patch things up, but it looks like the divorce is final.
The reason for the divorce, as far as the press has made it out, seems to be connected with the fact that Amber caught Wiz in bed with twin sisters. It also emerged that she had suspected him of cheating for some time, after he didn't want her coming along with him on tour and preferring that she should stay home.
