14 DAY TRIAL // The question of whether Johnny Depp finally popped the question to Amber Heard just got a big, shiny response. The blond beauty was spotted wearing what seemed to be a huge engagement ring on one of the fingers of her left hand, when she was photographed leaving the AGO Italian restaurant in Los Angeles on Monday.
Though many women out there will be saddened by this clear confirmation that dear old Johnny is now off the market, that ring is as close to being official as them confirming it in a press conference.
The 27-year-old actress tried her best to cover up her left hand, but one of the paparazzi managed to snap a photo as she used it to cover her eyes from the camera flashes.
E online can't confirm the news officially since representatives of both actors have not replied to the question. But that ring sure does manages to clear some of the controversy.
Depp and Heard were also spotted together during the weekend, whey they attended the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards. Heard took the stage when she presented the award for Best Supporting Actor to Jon Voight along with Taylor Kinney and Jesse Spencer.
Depp also made it on the stage when he presented the award for Best Motion Picture to “12 Years a Slave.” He and Heard first came together on the set of the 2011 movie “The Rum Diary,” but weren't romantically linked until 2012.
It was at that time that Depp, 50, separated from Vanessa Paradis, with whom he had a 14-year-long relationship. The former couple have two children together: Lily Rose, aged 14, and Jack, aged 11.
Though they spent almost a decade and a half together, Depp and Paradis were never married. So, if Johnny did present Amber with a ring, this will mark the first time he will be married. Better late than never!
